Dispelling Breastfeeding Myths: You Can Do It!!

Today is the last day of National Breastfeeding Awareness Week and in our tribute to the theme of the day (dispelling breastfeeding myths) here is our final post on why anybody can provide their baby with breast milk, if they truly want to!!

You might not be one of those mothers who can sit in the most public of places nursing and look confident.

You might not have many people who understand why you want to breastfeed.

You might not have a baby who can latch perfectly from the beginning, or at all.

You might not have the biggest boobs or the smallest boobs or the most perfect FHM front cover boobs.

You might not have read every book on the subject or got a degree in human biology.

You might not feel like you know what you’re doing and it might be hard work at times.

You might not have enough milk to feed your entire street and still have some spare to donate.

But you can do it if you want to!!

Have faith, find good support (there is always a way to fix breastfeeding problems if you want to) and keep going. You’re doing great.

Thanks for joining us for National Breastfeeding Week. 🙂 😀
